I’ve always believed that images speak louder than words, and our Visual Universe is proof of that. I found myself wondering who Qimera Studio would be in other parallel worlds. You know when someone asks you what animal you’d be? Well, I dove into that universe and wanted to discover who Qimera Studio would be if it were a house... a dish... a place... a mother...
The result was surprising; the coherence of my visual imagination was so strong that it became almost frightening. It proved that Qimera Studio is not just a jewellery brand; it has feelings, ideas, and very strong personality traits that are evident in our visual universe and reflected in our jewellery.
My name is Constança Vargas. Each and everyone jewels has conceived and shaped by me. I design and produced all the QIMERA STUDIO pieces. My background has nothing to do with goldsmithing, but life is so full of surprises that one day I found myself learning the craft in a workshop with four goldsmiths who have dedicated decades of their lives to it. Four men to whom I owe my gratitude and from whom I still have much to learn. Now, I spend my time at my workbench, at home, where I enjoy creating, experimenting, and crafting all my pieces with creativity. If you told me that one day I would be here I wouldn't believe it, but I turned my life around 180º, I left my already established professional life in search of a full heart.
RESPONSIBILITY MARK
All pieces are 925 silver, with the possibility of 24k gold plating., or 19.2 k gold (described as Portuguese gold). Since they are noble materials, there is production and marketing control. All of our pieces are marked with my goldsmith's punch as well as that of the noble material from which the jewels is made.

Each piece is made individually and some can be adjusted in size. Due to this, every piece requires individual care and attention, which takes a few hours to produce, which ensures that each piece is crafted to the highest possible standard.
Furthermore, as some of the pieces can be adjusted in size, we take extra care to ensure that the final product is tailored to the customer's specific needs. This level of customization adds more time to the production process, but ensures that each piece fits the customer perfectly and provides a unique, personalized experience.
Overall, the approach of individually producing each piece with care and attention to details may require more time, but it ensures that the final product is of the highest possible quality and tailored to the customer's specific needs and preferences.
MADE-TO-ORDER
All of our pieces are made to order. Each pieces of jewellery is manufactured specifically for the customer who orders it. This approach reduces waste and avoids unnecessary inventory build-up, as we only build products to order.
By making products to order, we can better manage the inventory and production process, which leads to a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach. We avoid over-producing products, which would result in excess inventory and waste. Instead, we manufacture jewelry as needed, which reduces wastes and conserves resources.
However, as each product is made to order, it requires some lead time for production and delivery. Each order can take from 15 to 20 business days to ship (with the exception of "Ready to go" products), depending on the product and order volume. This time allows the manufacturing process and any necessary quality checks to be completed before the product is shipped to the customer.
